Hello Readers, Happy Holidays! I’m writing this letter to you during the heat of our membership drive, which is the sixth that we’ve done in the last 15 years with Jimmy Cusano and staff at Your Chamber Connection.  Thanks to roughly 80 volunteers over a three day period, we are projected to bring in over 150 new chamber members! You’ve probably heard that we are the largest or most influential chamber in the State of Oregon, and this is all thanks to our dedicated members and volunteers, like those participating in this drive. From myself and The Chamber staff, thank you SO much to all the volunteers who run this Chamber, whether at this drive, or on action teams, committees or our board, and thank you SO much to all our members who help make us the renowned and well respected chamber that we are in the United States! In this issue of the Business Review, we talk about Science & Technology. Topics are covered such as the “Importance Of Cybersecurity for Businesses”, “Seven Engineering Wonders That Make Life Better In The 21st Century”, and how “Tech Aims To Predict Problems On Power Lines Before Disaster.” We also review the latest Forum, which was sponsored by the season sponsor, Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians. At this month’s Forum, Andrea Reeder, campaign director for Asante Foundation, presented on the expansion efforts for Asante, which includes a focus on mental illness and behavioral health. As it’s the holiday season and everyone’s busy and geared up to make things happen for themselves, their families, their business, and for others, let’s just keep this letter short and sweet this month! Thank you again to everyone who makes The Chamber of Medford & Jackson County all that it is and all that it could be. I hope you have a lovely rest of your holiday season and I will see you here in the new year when we introduce our new brand! (Yay!) Cheers,
letter from The Editor
