Last week Jackson County reached out to Oregon counties for official statements of support or opposition of Senate Bill 1530. So far, sixty four percent of Oregon’s counties have responded with resolutions, proclamations, orders, and letters expressing strong opposition to the “cap and trade” bill.

This is a prestigious award that is highly competitive: Out of a field of nearly 100 candidates, Gomez was the only honoree representing Southern Oregon and an electronics engineering firm.
