Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)
Assisting Disabled Oregonians to Achieve Employment
Learn More.
Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) assists individuals with disabilities to find and keep jobs that match their skills, interests and abilities. VR staff work in partnership with the community and businesses to provide services that are individualized to help each eligible person receive services that are essential to their employment success. VR works with both employers and employees to address medically-related employment barriers and/or limitations. We are not Worker Compensation, but rather a taxpayer funded disability employment organization. Therefore, when working with VR, you see your tax dollars at work, helping to support your business with both existing and future employees who have medically-related barriers. There is no cost to our services and we return $4 to the local economy for every $1 spent on disabled Oregonians & the businesses who hire them.  VR’s wide array of services are customizable and based on the individual needs of clients and employers, including touch screen monitors, consultations, disability awareness trainings, diversity and inclusion education, the retraining of recently-disabled employees, and ergonomic assessments and equipment. We serve both employers and employees by providing pre-screened, ready-to-work applicants with a wide range of skills and abilities from around the state. VR Staffing solutions can help you access a variety of work incentive programs that can save your business money. With VR offices in both Medford & Grants Pass, alongside a presence in every part of Oregon, every Oregonian with a disability who desires to work is given the opportunity and means.
